Gospel to day: february 2017

Thursday 2 March 2017
after Ash Wednesday
Lk 9.22 to 25

22 "The Son of man - he said - must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and rise again the third day." 23 And he said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24 Whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. 25 In fact, what advantage does a man who gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?

COMMENT of Tommaso Nuovo
Cross and Resurrection

Suit the story of Jesus Christ can only be understood from his resurrection. That's why announcing to the disciples, the days of his passion also puts the word "resurrection". Jesus reveals his fate and even our death and resurrection. To follow him to this destiny of light sets conditions: deny themselves, take up their cross and follow him.

Things a little difficult to take to the man, who wants to instead realize himself and does not accept the plan that God has for him. The man does not want to carry the cross: the weight of a struggle with sin, but to transform the sins in civil rights (abortion, divorce, euthanasia, homosexuality, depravity in general). The man who wants by all means to save her life trying to prolong it loses at the start, because eternal life is only of God and is a free gift given to those who desire it and not ashamed publicly to belong.

What good is to gain the whole world? The megalomania tied to money and power leads men to lose sight of the real goal to reach eternal life. Of course you can also work conscientiously and honestly, live well and do good, but then you have to leave everything. Let us remember the admonition of Jesus: you can not serve God and money "(Luke 16:13). Strait is the gate and narrow is the path that leads to life (Lk 13,24).

Our difficult and painful for all of life, it can only be understood in the light of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and ours. For many, life is a dark tunnel of pain and despair of no sense, every Christian monsters to his brother who suffers the light of the resurrection, which we believe and that she experienced in the forgiveness of sins. Good day.

Eighth week in Ordinary Time
Mc 10.17 to 27

17 As he went down the road, such a man ran up, knelt before him, asked him, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?". 18 Jesus said to him: "Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone. 19 You know the commandments: Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and your mother. " 20 He said to him, "Teacher, all these I have observed from my youth" 21 Then Jesus fixed his gaze on him, loved him and said, "One thing you lack, 'Go, sell what you You have and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; And Come! Follow me. " 22 But at these words he frowned and he went away sorrowful; in fact he possessed great wealth.
23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God." 24 The disciples were astounded by his words; But Jesus answered and said to them, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. " 26 They, even more amazed, saying to one another: "Who can be saved?". 27 Jesus looked at them and said: "Impossible to men but not to God! Because everything is possible with God. "

COMMENT Tommaso Nuovo
Rich, but Jesus Christ.

We are with this Gospel usual speech about who is rich? This gospel is not the rejection by God to those who are rich, but warns all that wealth is the main, although not the only thing that can prevent the man to follow God. In this case and why this of today's Gospel, the impediment is the possession of many goods, which attacked his heart and existence.

But the problem lies not only in many goods. Even the holy mother Teresa of the Child Jesus, Santa Marie-Azélie Guérin Martin, had accumulated, thanks to his work, more than two hundred thousand francs, before his death, but he certainly was not with them attacked the heart. In her the desire for eternal life was greater than any earthly aspiration.

Our relationship with Jesus is often so weak that even a thing or a person who is immediately replaced in our hearts. The riches, the goods available, the things that we own, home, work, feelings, our thoughts, vices, sins easily replace Jesus in our lives, even if we consider them necessary. To follow Jesus is not necessary to remove all but the one thing that occupies our heart illegally. For example, self-love, the love of if, to do all or part to satisfy our passions and our selfishness, cultivating above all the pleasures of the body, is what also prevents a minimum spiritual progress, prevents Jesus to stand in our heart. Abandon self-love, pride source of pride and selfishness. It allows Jesus to be with us and to us to be with Him.

Jesus speaks of the rich and of how difficult it is for them to enter the kingdom of heaven. Certainly the rich then it is not comparable to today's wealthy where few people hold 80% of the world's wealth. It is not only the possessed wealth measure that defines a rich, but it is the attachment of the heart to what you own. Many times we find it difficult to give even a single euro to someone who asks for an alms. As if we were the richest one euro.

We have to check every day that one can replace Jesus Christ and give this thing or person adequate space for us. To think that Jesus Christ wants all our heart to fill it with love, but rather the only we reserve the remotest corner tip. Why do we put so cornered Jesus in our hearts? We try to reflect and to put Jesus at ease in our soul.
Let's try now to leave more room for Jesus in our thoughts, in our words, in our actions offering them to Him. Jesus is always ready to fill our lives sweetness of his presence. Good day

Eighth week in Ordinary Time
Mt 6: 24-34

24 No one can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You can not serve God and wealth.
25 Therefore I say to you: do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear; life perhaps not worth more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: for they sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. It not worth more than they? 27 And which of you by being worry, can also stretch a little one's life? 28 And for the dress, why do you bother? Observe how the lilies of the field grow: they neither toil nor spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of loro.30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat? What shall we drink? What shall we wear? '. 32 Of all these things go in search of the pagans. Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have bisogno.33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as aggiunta.34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry of himself. Each day has enough trouble of its.

COMMENT of Tommaso Nuovo
Our life depends totally on God

Jesus is not a trade unionist or a politician, but what I propose to others who experience it first. Jesus warns that he follow his needs his conditions: the first requirement is that you can not serve God and money. Beware well: it is one thing to use the money for that which is necessary for life, an account used the money, moving towards it all his life.
Clearly money is lawfully procured through work and leads to life, but Jesus warns through the example of the lilies, the flowers of the field and the birds of the sky, that our lives and property that needs do not depend exclusively on our work but by God himself. God cares and worries of our lives and has filled the world with all necessary good to people and their livelihoods. Life does not depend on food, dress from what we own but from God.
But to get experience of God's care, his protection and his concern for the smallest things in life must learn from Jesus. He lived poor, chaste and obedient so that was God, his Father to make his life .Jesus totally dependent on the heavenly Father, in the things he needs, feelings, choices of life.

But it is so uncomfortable and difficult to depend on God for everything? Wonderful life to say the least of many saints shows us that this is possible. The hundredfold is something real, for those who want to imitate Jesus Christ. This applies primarily to those who are called to a special consecration to God and to others, but also for those who live a simple and industrious life in the family or in society, so much to see in everything even in the sad facts of life and suffering the will God. I echo the words of Job in the mind: God has given, God has taken away, blessed be God (Job 1,21b). If we accept good from God, because we do not receive evil? (Cfr.Gb 2.10).
Jesus goes beyond this passive acceptance of God's will and proposes a way of life of profound communion with God and with our brothers. "That they may be one" (Jn 17:11). We depend totally on God does not mean doing nothing, and large liabilities, but to see everything in the light of the will of God and how it directs and makes our life toward its port longed for eternal life. What do you think are the holy martyrs died? Who has been able to support them in times of trial. The one to whom they have entrusted their lives to be totally alive.
Here to depend totally on God's life is the challenge that the man of today, who has freed himself of God, puts us to us Christians. Today's man does not want to believe half-measures, but shining witnesses, who live in all as the Son of God and as children of God.
Trust God and live as he proposes is the true wisdom of man, who does not want to lose sight of his eternal destiny.
Good day.

Week in Ordinary Time
Mc 10,1-12

1 And from there, it was in the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan River. The crowds gathered to him again and again he taught them, as he usually did. 2 Some Pharisees came and, to test him, they asked him if it is lawful for a man to divorce his wife. 3 He answered them, "What did Moses command you?". 4 They said, "Moses allowed to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away." 5 Jesus said to them, "For your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment. 6 But from the beginning of creation he made them male and female; 7 for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8 and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 So not man put asunder what God has joined together. " 10 In the house the disciples questioned him again about this matter. 11 And he said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her; 12 and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery. "

COMMENT OF Tommaso Nuovo
Gospel without adding to

When you approach the Gospel to take a safe teaching that guides our lives to Jesus Christ must not lose sight of God's overall plan, because otherwise we risk isolating a rule, an indication and do not perceive it appropriate for our time. Someone uses biblical exegesis even to prove that these are not the words of the Lord, but of the Church at that time drafted the Gospels. This is very dangerous, because it is no longer able to see the whole Gospel of God's work. Although a textual level distinguishes the apostolic tradition by the editors, when made canonical by the Church and given divine inspiration, entire Gospel's revelation is the Word of God to be put into practice. And 'the man who must repent and believe the gospel, not the gospel that must be converted to make that man believe.

This what I would say to those who today at all levels in the Church, want to update the Gospel to replace it with the tradition of men.Jesus said not man put asunder what God has joined together. The so divorce is a crime before God. Punto. Whoever divorces his wife or her husband and marries another or another is adultery. Point. What could be clearer than that? We should not look for other explanations, since Jesus has already given to his disciples, and therefore to us.

What's behind this mess today by Church leaders reaches us? The reason is of ecclesial order: remove all traces of the Church passed to open it to all indifferently. If all are part of the Church then it is no longer the Church of Christ, but of men. So we start with the relativization of the doctrine, and then get to the liturgy ecumenical celebrations, up to the moral, profaning the Holy Communion and the sacrament of marriage. This is the smoke of Satan entered the Church as he had prophesied the Blessed Paul VI, pull the wool over people's eyes, because they do not see the satanic machinations of which today suffers the Church. Someone is turning faith into an ideology of men. But God will not allow this to happen, these people are straw is like chaff in the wind. When the Lord is tired of waiting for their personal conversion, he will sweep them away in a moment, forever, into the eternal fire. These are the people today who scandalize the little ones who believe. Certainly there are some pedophile priests who scandalized, but who manipulates the faith and the doctrine has a worse fault, because deceives the little ones who believe, diverting the path of their faith to hell. The Spirit of Christ has been replaced with the spirit of Pannella, that is, with the spirit of antichrist, which works to create confusion in the Church and to put all against all. We're just starting. Get ready to resist with prayer and faithfulness to Christ against these demons.

Good day.

Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Mk 9, 30-37

30 beyond Parties, through Galilee, but he did not want anyone to know. 31 He taught it to his disciples and said to them, "The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of men and they will kill him; but, once he killed, after three days rise again "32 But they did not understand this saying, and were afraid to question him.

33 And they came to Capernaum. When he was in the house he asked them, "What were you arguing about on the road?". 34 But they were silent. For the way they had discussed with one another who was more grande.35 he sat down, he called the Twelve and said, "If anyone wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all." 36 And he took a child and had him stand among them, and, embracing him, said to them, 37 "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me. "

COMMENT IN GOSPEL of Tommaso Nuovo

The road of humility

Jesus along the road that leads to Jerusalem seeks to instruct the disciples to be his identity, but wants to remain hidden and is the outcome of his mission of death and resurrection. But there is no distance between Jesus and his disciples They fail to put together the mosaic of words made with the instruction that Jesus gave to them in private. It is not that Jesus spoke to them in a mysterious way, but they did not understand and did not yet well known Jesus and his style, the way of God.

The disciples on this occasion show their human side ambition and vain glory, that characterizes every person who is very close to a famous person or a powerful or who want to participate in this elite.

Jesus gives them a great lesson that will remain in history as a warning and example for all future disciples and apostles .: "If anyone wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all." (Cfr. Mk 9 , 34). This lesson has been welcomed by many holy men and women, one of all St. Bernadette Soubirous, who despite being boosted from heaven has always held as a nun a great example of poverty and simplicity humility.

True for us this lesson to work on our spirit starting from the virtue of humility, which is the basis of all life and of all spiritual progress. We must escape the plague as the pride and vainglory, tiring thing to do because not only chase us, but we always precede offering at every opportunity to feed our spirit. The devil then adds other and fan the flames of our sins and vices: from the throat to lust, envy, anger. Therefore learn to know yourself is great wisdom

The Saints have succeeded in this endeavor because they focused on the person of Jesus and his Mother and beloved with love towards them, fully pleasing to him have imitated their lives carrying in their bodies the death of Jesus.

Let us set out with trust on this path of mortification of penance, essential to be first with Jesus the kingdom of heaven. Good day

Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Mc 9.14 to 29

14 And coming to the disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and some scribes arguing with them. 15 And immediately all the crowd, when they saw him, were greatly amazed and ran to greet him. 16 And he asked them, "What are you arguing with them?". 17 And one of the crowd answered him, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who has a muto.18 Wherever the spirit grasps, throws him to the ground and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to cast it out, but they did not succeed. " 19 And he said to them: "O faithless generation! Long shall I be with you? How long shall I tolerate you? Bring him to me. " 20 And they brought him. At the sight of him, straightway the spirit shook with convulsions the boy and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. 21 And he asked his father, "How long does this happen?". And he said, "From childhood; 22 indeed, often also he is thrown into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, have pity on us and help us. " 23 Jesus said to him: 'If you can! All things are possible to him who believes. " 24 The father of the child immediately answered aloud: "I believe; help my unbelief. " 25 Then Jesus, shrieked the crowd, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying: "Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter more" 26 Crying and shaking heavily, went out. And the child became as dead, so that many said: "He's dead." 27 Jesus took his hand, lifted him up, and he stood.

28 entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, "Why could not we cast him out? '. 29 And he said to them, "This kind of demons can come out in any way, except by prayer."

COMMENT Tommaso Nuovo

Never separate a sick person from God.

Jesus during his public life he worked for the sick, teaching to us to do the same. Jesus did not deal with the disease and to defeat them, but opened the man to the responsibility by providing science and charity to care for both the sick as a disease.

Although there are ancient physicians and practices medicine at the Greek temples, like that of Eusculapio, the church started after the Council of Nicaea the construction of hospitals, places of shelter and care for the sick, near the cathedral.

Jesus has always had compassion for the sick, even more serious ones like the lepers and asks to unite science compassion and attention of his Church for those who suffer in body.

Today, science has made great strides to defeat the disease, but with more progresses with more mysteriously increase the disease. Maybe the ones we know today did not exist or were unknown at the time of Jesus, but it is a fact that man has not found a total cure and decisive to its numerous infirmities. The man in this titanic effort can not do it alone to fight evil, illness and death, more access to medicines is not guaranteed at all: many cures and medicines are available only to those who possess wealth.

The originates in human frailty, in the way they conduct their material and spiritual life, the environment in which he lives. Especially those most vulnerable such as children and the elderly are affected, although in general we are all at risk of getting sick.

Jesus has dealt with the case of an epileptic boy showing in it the presence of the evil one and revealed that only through prayer you can defeat these kind of Demons. So we never turn away God and prayer from a patient. The power of God intervenes to liberate and heal what for man is incurable for the prayer of a faithful, a priest, for the sacrifice that is offered on the altar in favor of one or more sick is orders of gauze. They are good medicines, but by themselves they do not attack the cause of evil, caring for him, but not solve it. It 'a grace if a hospital is a church or chapel with the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, in which we celebrate the Holy Mass and where there is a priest who prays.

It is always necessary to present petitions to the Lord for all the sick and God will do the rest. Certainly not always get the healing, because many times the Lord uses sickness to heal the man from within. But if we pray with faith the action will be. God will never abandon anyone to his fate of death.

Good day.

VI week of Ordinary Time

Mc 8.34 to 9.1

34 He summoned the crowd with his disciples and said to them: "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's, the salverà.36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? 37 What could a man give in exchange for his life? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels "9

1 He said to them, "Truly I tell you, there are some here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God come in power."

Let's worry about our eternal salvation

Jesus does not want to win at all costs someone, going up with the demands of the people. This mode of operation have politicians who must take care of the interests of the people, but then they serve their goals, their ideologies, to manage public affairs according to the logic of power.

Jesus has only one goal: to save mankind at any cost. But before promising to all heaven, it indicates the way in which we walk, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me (Cfr.Mc 8.34). The way is traced by Jesus to take up his cross, that is, themselves and what hurts us, what threatens us, what humbles us as believers and prevent him from running to safety. In a word, Jesus invites us to take charge of their sins and go, run after Him. He is carrying the cross, which corresponds to each of us.

The cross that Jesus brings is the challenge of saving all men to snatch them from the infernal serpent. Our problem is to take seriously the issue of our salvation. We do not take seriously the fact that we can condemn forever, that we are always on the edge of the abyss, the abyss of hell. We'll be safe only in paradise. As long as we are in this life we are always at risk of getting lost forever.

We must guard against two extremes: to presume to save without merit, or the despair of salvation. These are sins against the Holy Spirit (the others are: challenge the known truth; envy the grace of another; obstinacy in sin, final impenitence). What Jesus asks of us we are to live our lives not thinking to conquer the world, or even a small space on its stage, that is, the fame, man reach eternal life. For just as it is impossible to conquer the whole world, you can certainly rather have eternal life. Who has eternal life has everything, it possesses a paradise, not just a small place, but all that's in it: the Holy Trinity, infinite source of happiness and joy, the Holy Mother of God, no one will be orphaned and as friends and brothers, the saints and angels and everything else that is in heaven.

Jesus warns us as his disciples about Him and His word publicly, even though we laughed at or judged. Whom should we fear God or men?

In these times we see on the internet the presence of many digital preachers, which multiply appeals and invitations to conversion. They speak of the times of the end, talk about the fulfillment of prophecies of Fatima and much more, presenting or as seers or as persons who have had special revelations from heaven. The Magisterium of the Church keeps watch, wary of these characters so that the faithful are not deceived by people who have other purposes and the salvation of souls. There is an episode of the gospel but must make us reflect: one that casting out demons in the name of Jesus and the disciples have prevented it, because it was not the group of Jesus' disciples. Jesus warns them: "do not hinder them, for who is not against us is for us "(cfr. Lk 9.46 to 50).

As many have lost faith in the Church mainly because of the priests, do not rule out the possibility that God may also speak through these strange characters. The problem is to have a sufficient understanding to take what it really takes to the soul and bring down the rest. There is also the risk of falling into the hands of rapacious wolves, however, they made the current record tell us that these wolves are also in the Church. We must therefore have the sure reference points, which are: Sacred Scripture, the saints and the Magisterium of the Church, of which the Catechism of the Catholic Church is an authoritative synthesis.

We must first pray to the Holy Spirit and the Mother of God, that causes us to guide in a time when it is hard to see a light above us. Good day.

VI week of Ordinary Time

Mc 8.27 to 33

27 And Jesus went with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi, and for the interrogator way his disciples saying, "Who do people say I am?". 28 And they told him, "John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and others one of the prophets. " 29 And he asked them, "But who do you say that I am?". Peter answered, "You are the Christ." 30 And he commanded them that they should not talk about him to anyone.

31 And he began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. 32 He did this quite openly. Peter took him aside and began to rimproverarlo.33 he turned around and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, "Go 'behind me, Satan! You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings. "

Who am I to you?

After the resurrection of Jesus fell the prohibition to speak to anyone who was the Christ. The disciples during the dark hours of the passion they had forgotten who he was the Christ. Jesus appearing to them has restored them to the memory of those events and those words they had heard during the three years of life with Jesus.

Those men knew who was the Christ, but the scandal of the cross had erased all memory of them.

We can know who is Christ not because we saw him risen and we lived with Him, but because we have been told and narrated by his first witnesses and apostles. Our faith rests on the faith of the apostles, which is credible for how it has changed their lives, after the resurrection of Jesus

The apostles have given us the deposit of faith, guarded by the Church over the centuries has gained a deeper knowledge of the mystery of Christ and the salvation of man.

Our faith is nourished so the sacraments, the word of God and the Church's doctrine as contained in the Word of God and Tradition and guaranteed by the Magisterium of the Church

The question that Christ gave to his disciples: "People who say that I am", the also addressed to us. Only Christ, today, does not want to hear from us the inaccuracy or temporariness of an opinion, but the answer I gave Pietro, however, that with faith and belief, that by the grace of God and the knowledge of the doctrine of the faith.

The clarity of the doctrine is not equaled in any theological discourse of today's theologians. Why do not you teach the doctrine more? Why you not taught who God is? Faith certainly not just come for the teaching of the doctrine, but with the accession to the revelation. But a believer can not join the hypotheses or theological argument, but the truth, on which then the Holy Spirit works to increase the faith and the divine life in the person.

Then behind the human statements. that in a certain way, or adjust belie the Revelation, there is no doubt Satan is pure truth. That's why the Magisterium of the Church and all theologians should write less, talk less and think more. Thinking as human beings and not according to God, that apostasy is the first and main scourge of the Church, but the pedophile priests. Christ has not sent me away from the twelve Peter's group, but corrected him, revealing that he was following Fraternal correction must be at home in the Church. Who refuses to be correct then it will go the way of Judas, betray the Master. Good day.

VI week of Ordinary Time

Mc 8,22-26

22 They came to Bethsaida, and they bring a blind man, and begged him to touch him. 23 Then he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village; and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands and asked, "See anything?". 24 What, looked up and said, "I see people , because they look like trees walking. " 25 Then again he laid his hands over his eyes and he saw clearly there, was healed from a distance, and saw all things clearly. 26 And he sent him to his house, saying, "Do not even enter the village."

Jesus is always ready with his grace

It strikes me that Jesus had to impose twice the hands of the blind man, after he moistened his eyes with saliva. Perhaps the power of Jesus did not always effect? No! His is an immediate power to change the course of nature. Rather it is necessary to doubt that man is always ready to receive divine grace, even when you feel you need more oats.

Man is never ready to accept God's grace, because he trusts always in himself or in others, rather than in God. That certainly blind did not know that on that day he met the Savior, yet the path of Jesus was going toward him. Although it seems to have been more to bring the blind man to Jesus, it is Jesus who was made to find to meet him. Jesus, you always find and if you hide it because it wants you to try, we want even more.

But we are more ready to sin than to receive his grace and his gifts, that Jesus, in every hour, every day, pour down upon us as "torrent of delights" (cfr. Sal 36.9). Easily we hide behind our excuses or accuse others in our defense. As the ancestors we are afraid of God, because we are naked, that is, short of the grace of God.

The Lord is ready to donate, we are also ready to receive, wishing with all my heart that God will take care of our lives. If we look still well let us bring Him the saints, our true friends and companions. The Lord is waiting for us, do not let him wait too long, it could go, not seeing our arrival. Good day.

Saints Cyril and Methodius Patrons of Europe

Lk 10.1 to 9

1 After these things the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place he intended to visit. 2 He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few! Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest 3 Go: behold, I send you as lambs among wolves; 4 Carry no purse, no bag, no sandals, and do not stop to greet anyone on the road. 5 Whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace to this house. " 6 And if a son of peace, your peace shall rest upon him, or come back to voi.7 Stay in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages. Do not went from house to house. 8 When you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is offered, 9 heal the sick that are therein, and say to them: "It is close to you the kingdom of God."

Europe's destiny is in the hands of the Saints

Jesus sends the disciples into all the countries of the earth (in fact seventy-two was the number of nations then known), but the mission of Jesus continues to this day, and involved in all and with great passion and intelligence these two brothers from Thessalonica: Cyril and Methodius, which John Paul II proclaimed the heavenly patron of the European continent December 31, 1980, with the Apostolic Letter Egregiae virtutis.

These two men were just two, not a hundred or a hundred or a thousand, but two.

They laid the foundation of evangelization of the Slavic peoples, inventing the alphabet Cyrillic said, translating the Bible and the Latin liturgy in the language of the peoples of Eastern Europe, thus becoming the fathers of their culture. But they were only ever two. Because their work has borne fruit? Because they had faith and were concerned of their sanctification. In their work is no longer their faith, that their intelligence. But, I repeat were only two brothers. This should make us reflect on the fact that God has no need of our faith, to operate, which of our actions or our pastoral plans.

Europe breathes spiritually with the lungs of the Christian West and East Europe. We must prefer the dialogue and encounter with the Christians of the East, welcome them as brothers in Christ. Today we suffer a silent invasion of Islam, which has nothing to do and see with the identity and the values of Europe and find a 'Europe which disavowed its Christian roots. Therefore Islam is the free land to settle and take the place of faith and Christian values, the only values that guarantee peace and harmony to the people, even to the Islamic ones.

The entire project of the European Union is destined to implode, to fail if it does not find its spiritual soul, as have it delivered the saints. That's why we must beg the Lord Jesus through the patron saints of Europe: Benedict, Cyril and Methodius, Catherine of Siena, Bridget of Sweden and Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, who intercede for the birth of new saints to re-evangelize Europe, which has lost its orientation to God and his Christian identity.

Unless God has determined to leave Europe to its fate and be reborn somewhere else the people of God. It will certainly be the end of the world, but a world that has denied God. Good day

VI Seventh Ordinary Time

Mark 8: 11-13

11 The Pharisees came and began to argue with him, asking him a sign from heaven, tempting prova.12 But he sighed deeply and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Verily I say unto you, this generation will not be given any sign "13 He left them, got back into the boat and went to the other side.

Each of us is the sign of God

Were so many signs of the presence and action of God in Jesus Christ, miracles, his word, his behavior and his very person, were more than signs. I want them to be denied at all costs, or ask a further sign is an indication of profound disbelief. Those men did not believe in the person of Jesus and in his divinity. Today the situation is not much different. Simply it puts Jesus Christ in indifference and do not recognize the signs that He continually lets the whole world: the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, to the saints. It continues to say: "where is God." The Church itself is a sign, even if due to some of his servants infidels lost its credibility.

But if that generation that was looking for a sign solver Jesus by other signs, besides those who had already given to our generation as a sign every believer. Every Christian is God's sign in front of this unbelieving generation.

God did not need to do extraordinary measures to show that there is, he has already done so in his Son Jesus, but in each of the believers, through faith, hope and charity, God demonstrates His own love and his act favor of men.

The sign that God sends in the world is the holiness of every child. That's why every believer who is aware of its being a sign of God, must be concerned to sanctify his life. God speaks, acts and sanctifies the world through each of us.

If we are not instruments of God inevitably we are become instruments of Satan, even though we say we do not want it, we are in fact at your service, because we do not serve God.

So we are a great responsibility, but also a great opportunity to realize our life for better. Today many young people finishing their studies do not receive any job offer. If they had the faith to offer to God their qualities, their intelligence and their heart, without thinking to a specific consecration, but to be at the service of God, they would work and pay the insured, as well as countless gifts of grace and life eternal if they have faithfully served their employer.

I put myself at the service of the Lord Jesus this site and what I write, to be its sign, in front of this generation, and I thank him who gave me this great opportunity to be able to

serve with my life. Good day.

VI Ordinary Time

Mt 5.17 to 37

The Law and its fulfillment

17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to give full compimento.18 Verily I say unto you, until you have passed the heavens and the earth, it will one jot or one dash of the Law, until all is done. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 I will indeed tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Anger and reconciliation

21 You have heard that it was said to your ancestors, You shall not kill; and whoever kills shall be liable to judgment. 22 But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment. And whoever says to his brother: "Stupid", will be liable to the council; and whoever he says, "Crazy", will go to the fire of Gehenna.

23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, go 'first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come to offer your gift.

25 Come to terms with your opponent while you're on the way with him, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say to you will never get out until you have paid the last penny!

Adultery and fidelity

27 You have heard that it was said, Thou shalt not commit adultery. 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from thee: fact you should lose one of your members than that your whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away: in fact you should lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

31 was also said, 'Whoever divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.' 32 But I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for the case of illegitimate union, adulteress, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Yes, yes; no, no

33 Again you have heard that the ancients were told, "Do not swear falsely, but shall perform unto the Lord thine oaths." 34 But I say to you: do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, 35 nor by the earth, because it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Do not swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 Whether your talking instead: "Yes, yes," "No, no"; more than this comes from the evil one.

To live well our relationship with God and with others we must have rules that educate us and preserve us from evil, that we can do to others and to ourselves.

Today Jesus gives someone remembers, is among the most disregarded in a society that seems to be the Festival of corruption. The Jesus rules are strict, not because of the sanctions that threaten, but for the responsibility they ask.

These rules were spoken by Jesus for everyone, even for those who do not believe in Him, because then He will judge all people. Especially within the family and matrimonial Jesus knows the weakness of man and woman and the commandments and other indications such as not to look longingly at a woman or a man used to defend man from himself. All commandments have as its goal the protection of man and the man driving along the roads of life, because it does not lose sight of his eternal destiny.

These rules also imply an ascetic practice, which serves to all for training in the virtues and respond to the poisoned arrows of the devil. For example look at a woman or a man with the desire to have him as ascetic practice calls we get used to close your eyes, turn his head, or watching without fixing and especially train the heart to do the will of God. This workout It serves both when we go on the street, or meet someone or watch television or computer. Very important for consecrated persons is staying never alone with a woman or a man. San Carlo Borromeo when he was fighting for his ministry a woman, out of the confessional, it entertained the minimum necessary and always in the presence of two witnesses. The devil takes a small spark to ignite a fire.

God has given us important tools, which are the commandments to protect us from evil and do really good to others.

We learn by heart the words of the Lord, if we have a rio fear of God and a healthy fear of ending up in hell. No one can get out of it, after we finished our short life, without exploiting all the opportunities and the opportunities that God

Fifth week in

Ordinary Time

 Mc 7,31-37

31 Again he left the district of Tyre through Sidon, came towards the sea of Galilee in full territory of Decapolis. 32 They brought a deaf and dumb, and they begged him to impose his hand. 33 He took him aside, away from the crowd, put his fingers in his ears, and he spat and touched his tongue; 34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said, "Ephphatha," that is, "Be opened." 35 And immediately his ears were opened, broke the string of his tongue, and he spoke plainly. 36 And he commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he forbade it, the more they proclaimed and 37, were astonished, saying, "He has done all things well: makes the deaf hear and the mute speak."

He has done all things well.

At the time of Jesus there were many detractors of his work and for his words, which clashed with enthusiastic tones of people who went from Him. Certainly there have been exaggerations about him, but it is a certain fact that Jesus worked miracles who they had never seen and which bore the sign of the intervention of God. the Pharisees and the heads of the people were seeking by every means to discredit this work, saying also that he was acting in the name of Belzebull (See. Mt 12:24).

But what happens now? With difficulty is shown the work of God among men. Nothing is said of Him who has done all things well. The you want to present the bill to all natural disasters of which we are now spectators or players. Today it is hard to speak well of God, indeed it is hard to speak of God, to involve him in our dramas, our problems, our solitudes. He holds it out, if not far from the public eye, with the excuse that the state is secular, nondenominational.

Today it does not speak well of God, nor the Church's priests. It certainly speaks well of Pope Francis. But those who now present themselves as his best friends, tomorrow will be his worst enemies. Those that today the move of the criticisms are also those who still pray for him. But the church is not only the Pope, it belongs only to the Pope. Each of us must feel the Catholic Church as his, like your own home and do all because you speak well of it, and of his sons. All that is also said to hurt one son or daughter of the Church reflected on the whole Church and of reflection on Jesus Christ and of God, and broke their credibility and that of the Gospel. Although there are the representatives and leaders of the Church, each of us represents and is responsible before the world with his faith, with his words and his actions. Let us not forget that the Church is the Body of Christ and we are united to him as his limbs Good day.

Fourth week in           Ordinary Time

Mc 6,30-34

30 The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported all they had done and what they had taught. 31 And he said to them, "Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while ''. In fact, many were those who came and went and they did not even have time to mangiare.32 then went by boat to a deserted place by themselves. 33 Now many saw them going, and knew, and all the cities flocked there on foot and reached it before them.

34 disembarked he saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.

Jesus is keen to have a special relationship with his apostles. And 'he who takes the initiative, after they returned from their first mission: "Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.'" Please do not begin to interpret this as the need for the clergy and the religious go on vacation, maybe in exotic locations ... or do a retreat in in houses with three or four stars. Because the problem is not rest or eat well (which then becomes a problem for the spirit), but to be with Jesus, to stand with him.

The Saints were in a hurry to earn the sky and not to rest. I do not know how many times a day we think of Jesus and his Mother Mary and say that we love them and we express the desire to be with them, because we feel like we are torn from our things from our thoughts, by our actions, by being with them. Certainly, serving Christ in our brothers, spend themselves for others is like being with Christ. But being with Christ is the first and last horizon of every action and word of a cleric or a religious and religious: "without me you can do nothing" (Jn 15,8). If not for those we serve? We serve those who have loved us first and gave full meaning to our lives: Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

This goes for the clerics and religious, but also for all believers, because it's easy, it's a matter of a moment, set aside Christ for the creatures. We do not realize that Christ is more intimate to us than ourselves. By Him it depends all our life as the life of the whole cosmos.

People tried Christ. Like the look today? Today it is still looking like it once and seeks above all by the Church and by her ministers. The Church, each one put in it as minister and servant has a duty, the urgent need to check whether it is Christ who sends his word, his thoughts and his actions, or only the tradition of men. And there is a way to check it. As a cleric, a religious likes to stay on the sidelines, only with Him. How much desire to report to it his work in a personal dialogue: only with the Solo, not only on special occasions, but always.

This is a necessity today, not an excuse, because it's great pastoral action infertility and we have to understand where they are the cause. Good day.
