XXV of ordinary time

Mk 9,30-37

30 Departed from there, they crossed Galilee, but he did not want anyone to know. 31 He taught his disciples and said to them, "The Son of Man is delivered into the hands of men and they will kill him; but, once killed, he will rise again after three days. "32 But they did not understand these words and were afraid to question him.

33 They came to Capernaum. When he was at home, he asked them, "What were you discussing on the street?" 34 And they were silent. In fact, on the street they had discussed among themselves who was greater.35 Sedutosi, called the Twelve and said to them: "If one wants to be the first, be the last of all and the servant of all." 36 And taking a child he put him in their midst, and embracing him, he said to them, 37 "Whoever receives one of these children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me, does not receive me, but the one who sent me. Jesus also today announces his passion

Jesus announces his passion death and resurrection to his disciples and instructs them on the mission of salvation that the Father has entrusted to him, a mission that continues today, in his body that is the Church, especially in every Holy Eucharist in which we participate.

Even if the context in which these facts took place has changed, they are still being renewed today. Because if Jesus was then the ruling group, today he is betrayed by a large part of his Church, his bride, who has been bought with his blood.

By Church we mean first of all, the ecclesiastical hierarchy and a part of the clergy, of the religious and of the religious, who are looking for their own interest and not that of Christ.

Even if good priests and holy priests and bishops are not lacking, we must ask ourselves why the hand of God has been heavy on the Church, so that there are no vocations, little desire to work for holiness, the clergy (priests and bishops) increasingly involved in vicious events, homosexuality of the clergy is almost normalized and we never talk about homosexual pedophilia. We are witnessing a mundanization of the life of the Church, with a serious loss of the sense of the Sacred, it is enough to see how people participate in the Holy Mass, without any spiritual preparation.

There is a serious climate of silence, lack of parrhesia: priests are afraid to speak, they are silent dogs (as St. Gregory the Great says), they do not tell people how things are and what should be done. No word of criticism can be pronounced against the current pontiff without being immediately investigated.

Behind, however, there is the hand of God who prepares his Church for great trials and purifies his children, in view, however, of great gifts, of great saints. Even the Virgin Mary, when she speaks in truth is silent, because she is always saying the same things as all mothers do, is not listened to. This is why it is legitimate to doubt not the Madonna, but for example the visionaries of Madjugorie.

How the Church's enemies laughed out loud when they saw the current situation. How Jehovah's Witnesses feel confirmed in their idea by seeing what corruption there is in the Vatican. And what do we do?

We must follow Jesus the teacher who does not change a comma what he said. Today Jesus teaches us to be as small as a child before God, to allow ourselves to be embraced by the Father, so that His glory and holiness may appear in us. Here is the real problem of the Church rediscovering faith and holiness, resume following Jesus, even when preparing scenarios of passion and death, as is happening in China, the red dragon, the devil, precisely. We lacked only this: that the Vatican should make an agreement with the devil. But this is not new and the results are seen. Who exults now, tomorrow will cry. Better cry now and turn tears into prayer, because if the bride, the Church loses the Bridegroom Christ, many will remain orphans. Good day.

XXIII week of ordinary time

Lk 6: 27-38

27 But to you who hear, I say: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who treat you badly. 29 To whom strikes you on the cheek, you also offer the other; who ripped off your coat, do not even refuse the tunic. 30 Give to anyone who asks you, and to those who take your things, do not ask them back.

31 And as you want men to do to you, so do you too. 32 If you love those who love you, what gratitude is due to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what gratitude is due to you? Even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those you hope to receive, what gratitude is due to you? Even sinners grant loans to sinners to receive them as well. 35 Instead, love your enemies, do good and lend without hoping for anything, and your reward will be great and you will be children of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.

36 Be merciful, as your Father is merciful.

37 Do not judge and you will not be judged; do not condemn and you will not be condemned; forgive and you will be forgiven. 38 Give and it will be given to you: a good measure, crushed, filled and overflowing it will be poured in the womb, because with the measure with which you measure, it will be measured to you in return ».

Love the enemies?

Like every part of the Gospel, this passage must also be read and meditated in connection with what precedes it and then follows. This passage of the Gospel according to St. Luke follows the proclamation of the beatitudes and troubles that Jesus addresses to his disciples and to the rich.

But after announcing "woe to you rich", as a warning to their salvation, show what God is capable of: love to enemies. What God says he does also, because his word and his will are one.

What Jesus asks us to do: to love, to bless and not to respond to evil with evil, for us it is impossible, if there were no God who is the first with each of us. Only this enables us to do what Jesus asks of us. Give to others what we receive from God. But this is not a spontaneous act, let us remember the parable of the wicked servant (Mt 18: 23-25), who after receiving a great amnesty is not able to do the same with one of his companions.

In order to respond to the enemy with love, a transformation must take place in us: the conversion of our heart into the heart of Jesus. This happens through God's grace, through the imitation of Christ and in a continuous inner work of purification from our sin, because if the spirit is ready, the meat is always weak: in fact it is easier to take ten steps in the back than one forward. Everything certainly depends on God, but also on our concrete choices. However, the Mother of God is always ready to intercept our minimum desire for goodness and holiness to help us grow in the measure of Christ. Good day
